The Institute for Concrete Leadership provides high-impact leadership experience for the leaders in your organization. Tailored to the concrete industry and limited to Tennessee Concrete Association member companies this new program is an excellent way to invest in and retain your current and future leaders. This program is limited to no more than 20 individuals (maximum of 2 per company) and will run throughout 2025. The 2025 cohort kicks off at the TCA Annual Convention on February 5, 2025 with a full day of in-person learning led by Magnet Culture. 

2025 Schedule

Wednesday, February 5, 2025 - A full day of in-person learning with the other members of the 2025 ICL cohort. Learn about yourself and how you can make a positive impact to keep your people working for your organization. Training will be led by Magnet Culture, and will include both DISC and EQ assessments and training. Session to be held at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs in Franklin, TN

April (10th?), Exact Date TBD - Virtual session to continue your momentum, led by Magnet Culture

May (15th?) Exact Date TBD - In-person session to be held in the Nashville area with concrete industry facilitator(s). The session will focus on the cohort's project(s) that the group will work on during 2025, with focus on Concrete Educators Summer Camp.

June 25, 2025 - A day of in-person learning and interaction with Dr. Heather Brown, VP of Technical Services for IMI and former director of the Concrete Industry Management program at MTSU. Dr. Brown will share her unique insights into leadership developed over her two decades of serving the concrete industry in Tennessee as well as nationally. This session held at the San Destin Hilton in Miramar Beach, Florida just prior to the 2025 Tri-State Summer Meeting at the same location.

July, Exact Date TBD, 2025 - First-ever Concrete Educators Summer Camp in Nashville, likely a three day event for high school educators. ICL cohort to attend and assist on two days (so one over-night).

November 12-13, 2025 - A half-day, in-person closing session with one of the concrete industry's most powerful forces for innovation and leadership - Ms. Anne Ellis of Ellis Global. Followed by a full day of participation with TCA's Board of Directors as they chart strategy for 2026 and beyond. Session to be held at Pickwick State Park Lodge near Savannah, TN.

February 4-5, 2026 - Final Report for the 2025 Cohort will take place at the 2026 TCA Annual Convention.
