Skate4Concrete
Is your school participating in Skate4Concrete (S4C)? We're thrilled to have you join us in this unique program that combines the thrill of skateboarding with learning about the concrete industry! Skate4Concrete is all about showing you that there's more than one path to a successful career—especially in the hands-on world of concrete, where every day can be as exciting as building a skatepark.
Through S4C, you'll discover how skateparks are designed and why skateboarding relies so heavily on concrete. You'll also get a taste of what a career in this dynamic industry could look like. It's not just about riding; it's about creating spaces where riders can thrive. Plus, as part of the program, you’ll have the chance to engage in project-based learning that covers everything from math and science to teamwork and problem-solving.
As an S4C participant, your class will have the chance to enter in the Mini Concrete Skatepark Competition—make sure to read the guidelines & parameters throroughly! This is your chance to apply what you've learned by building your own mini skatepark and possibly earning accolades in our Best Mini Skatepark Awards. Get ready to show us your creativity and skills!
