Support Local Talent Through TCA’s Skate4Concrete Sponsorship
The Tennessee Concrete Association is thrilled to share our interactive map highlighting the schools participating in the Skate4Concrete (S4C) initiative. This innovative program, in partnership with the Concrete Advancement Foundation, utilizes skateboarding to educate students about the diverse career opportunities within the concrete industry. By demonstrating how skateparks are built and showcasing the critical role of concrete in these constructions, S4C engages students in a unique, hands-on learning experience.
Our map serves as a tool for TCA member companies to see which schools are participating and to identify opportunities for sponsorship. Schools marked with blue pins are actively seeking sponsors to help them build mini skateparks as part of our annual competition. These sponsorships not only support the schools but also connect TCA members with their local communities, fostering relationships that encourage students to consider careers in concrete.
Red pins on the map indicate schools that already have the support of a TCA member company, with details of the sponsors visible upon clicking the pin. This visual representation showcases the impact our members are already making and we are excited to see this community grow.
We encourage our members to explore the map and consider sponsoring a local school. This is a fantastic way to give back to the community and inspire the next generation of concrete professionals. If you find a school near you that you’d like to sponsor, please email Alan Sparkman at asparkman@tnconcrete.org to get involved.
