Attend the Skate4Concrete Competition by registering to: 

  • Judge - (4 spots available)
  • Observe - (25 spots available)
  • Host an Exhibit Booth - (6 spots available)

There are a limited number of tickets available, so now choose how you would like to attend.

Skate4Concrete is a free Concrete 101 Course that opens students' eyes to the importance and stability of a career in concrete.

The final module of the Skate4Concrete curriculum encourages student teams to build their own miniature concrete skateparks. Top student teams will join us for this years S4C Mini Concrete Skatepark Competition hosted on April 11th, 2025 at Middle Tennessee State University! It will be coupled with a tour of the Concrete Industry Management program. 

Agenda

April 11
10:00 AM - 10:30 AM (Arrival and Set Up)
Student teams arrive at MTSU and transport their Skateparks into the specified lab area. 

Time for mingling with other teams and networking with industry professionals as all arrive.
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Student Presentations and Concrete Quiz Bowl)
Student teams gather in Room 105. 

Each team will give a 3 min presentation on their skatepark following the criteria listed here.

They will present this in front of the other student teams and our panel of concrete expert judges.Students will also engage in the “Concrete Quiz Bowl” after all the presentations have been given.
12:00 PM - 12:30 PM (Lunch) Lunch provided for students, courtesy of MTSU. 
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM (CIM Program Tour) Students experience a tour of the Concrete Industry Management Program & Facilities hosted by CIM Staff.

During this time, judges will give student teams’ their scores based on the criteria.
1:30 PM - 2:00 PM (Award Ceremony, Networking, and Departure ) Wrapping up the CIM tour, students will regroup for the Awards Ceremony.

After awards are presented, students can network, load up their skateparks, and get on the road back to local High Schools.
